General

What is a status page?
A status page is a publicly accessible web page that displays the real-time operational status of your services, APIs, and infrastructure. It helps you communicate transparently with your users during incidents, planned maintenance, and normal operations. It builds trust and reduces support ticket volume.
Who is My Status Page for?
My Status Page is designed for SaaS companies, startups, freelance developers, agencies, e-commerce platforms, and any business that operates online services. Whether you have 1 endpoint or 500, our platform scales with you.
How long does setup take?
Less than 5 minutes. Sign up, add your first monitor, and your public status page is live. Custom domain setup takes an additional 2-3 minutes.
Do I need technical skills?
No. Our interface is designed for non-technical users. Adding monitors is as simple as entering a URL. Advanced users can leverage our API and webhook integrations for automated workflows.

Pricing & Billing

How much does it cost?
$14.99/month with full access to all features. No tiers, no per-seat pricing, no hidden fees. Every customer gets the same complete feature set.
How does the 14-day free trial work?
Sign up with your credit card for verification. You get 14 days of full, unrestricted access. No charge is made until day 15. Cancel anytime during the trial and you won't be billed at all.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees, no minimum commitment. Cancel from your dashboard in one click. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you change your mind.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe. We do not store any payment information on our servers — Stripe handles all payment processing securely.
Do you offer annual billing?
Not yet, but it's on our roadmap. Monthly billing gives you maximum flexibility with no long-term commitment.
Will prices increase?
We commit to keeping our pricing simple and fair. Existing customers are grandfathered at their current rate for at least 12 months following any price change.

Technical

What monitoring protocols are supported?
HTTP(S), TCP, DNS, PING (ICMP), SMTP, POP3, IMAP, and custom keyword monitoring. You can monitor websites, APIs, databases, mail servers, game servers, and any TCP-accessible service.
What is the monitoring frequency?
Checks run every 60 seconds by default. You can configure intervals from 20 seconds to 24 hours depending on your needs.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Point a CNAME record to our servers and your status page will be accessible at your custom domain (e.g., status.yourdomain.com). SSL certificates are automatically provisioned via Let's Encrypt at no extra cost.
Where are your servers located?
Our infrastructure is hosted in the European Union (EU datacenter). This ensures GDPR compliance and low-latency access for European users. Global CDN ensures fast loading worldwide.
What is your uptime SLA?
We guarantee 99.9% uptime for the monitoring platform itself. This translates to less than 8.76 hours of downtime per year. Check our own status page for real-time metrics.
Do you have an API?
Yes. Our REST API allows you to programmatically manage monitors, status pages, incidents, and retrieve uptime data. Full API documentation is available in your dashboard.
How do notifications work?
Configure alerts via 90+ channels: email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, webhooks, SMS (via integrations), and more. Notifications are sent within seconds of detecting an issue.
Can I customize the look of my status page?
Yes. Customize your logo, favicon, colors, header text, and footer. Your status page will look like a native part of your product.
Is there a limit on monitors?
No. Your $14.99/month subscription includes unlimited monitors. Monitor as many endpoints as you need.
Can I group monitors?
Yes. Organize monitors into groups (e.g., "API Services", "Frontend", "Payment System") for a clean, structured status page.

Security & Compliance

Is My Status Page GDPR compliant?
Yes. We are fully GDPR compliant. Data is hosted in the EU, we have a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) available on request, we minimize data collection, and we never share personal data with third parties. You can request data export or deletion at any time.
Do you store payment information?
No. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never see, store, or have access to your full credit card number.
How is my data protected?
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Backups are encrypted with AES-256 and stored in a separate location. Access to production systems requires multi-factor authentication.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export all your monitoring data, incident history, and account information at any time from your dashboard or via the API. We believe in data portability — your data is yours.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, during which you can reactivate your account. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted from our systems, including backups (within 90 days for backup rotation).
Do you have a DPA (Data Processing Agreement)?
Yes. We provide a GDPR-compliant DPA for all customers. Contact support@mystatuspage.com to request a signed copy.
